Website Re-Design

2018 - Cree, City of Refuge and Hope

Branding, Social Media and UI / UX Design

In the design strategy for the organization "Cree - City of Refuge and Hope", a study of the target was carried out, as well as the development of a commercial image and a social networking strategy for Facebook. Also, from the new commercial image, the existing web page was redesigned, making it functional and user-friendly. This project was carried out with the objective of including the Guatemalan population within its target in order to obtain sponsors and donors in the country. In addition, an image was defined for the organization to better connect with its target.

The CREE logo represents the union of the bases of the religion of the ministry with the union and the proper action of the missionaries, volunteers and donors. It is designed to be versatile in terms of language change in both English and Spanish, and also to establish a universal representation in case of using multiple languages. The corporate texture was made manually and then vectorized to maintain that human action as in the logo. It connotes the patterns in the texture of the typical costumes of Guatemala. The business cards are designed shooting and withdrawal in order to provide the necessary space and hierarchy for users to feel comfortable. The use of different designs was proposed to motivate the users and give a surprise element. The labels are an additional strategic element with the purpose of motivating, creating a brand presence, and leaving a feeling of satisfaction in the members of the target.

The strategy consists initially in the development of an exclusive page for the ministry to provide users with contact and transmit a professional and reliable image. Then in the distribution of content in publications per day each month. The website is designed to inform users about the ministry in general. It is made up of 3 main parts,"We", which provides information; "Contact", which informs the user how he can help by donating or volunteering, and a form in which he can contact the ministry directly without having to go to his mail; and a Blog, in which the points of view of those involved will be shared.
