Distefano

Digital Painting Technique in Adobe Photoshop.

A series of exclusive illustrations was developed for the Distefano clothing store with the aim of highlighting its new collection of winter clothes. The illustration is based on the visualization of the clothing that appears in the store's lookbook, replacing the heads of the models with heads of animals that inhabit the cold forests to represent the concept and maintain the look and feel of Distefano. The technique is 100% digital by means of Photoshop, starting with a sketch, then the strokes are defined and finally color is provided in a lower layer. The aesthetics of the illustration is the imitation of a handmade technique of ink and sketch, maintaining trembling lines and painting outside edges, giving it a humanistic touch. Regarding the color range, colors similar to the textiles found in Distefano were maintained.

Among the pieces in which the illustrations were implemented is: Paper bag to carry purchases, which draws attention and provides publicity at the time that the buyer presumes abroad. Clothing labels, which identifies which is the male (bear) and the female (rabbit). Shoe box with the same theme that can be used later by the buyer. Various cotton T-shirts with different illustrations and the logo of the brand, in various textile colors intended as product sale. And finally, illustrations painted on the walls inside the changing rooms, a different one in each cubicle. This completes the environment for the client.
